TIMES:
- The half marathon will start at 9 am.
- The race course closes at 12:30 PM.
- There will be an early start for walkers of the half marathon at 8 am. Please contact the race director if you would like this option. You will not be eligible for age group awards.
WHERE:
- The start and finish for all the races will be at Howard Amon Park in Richland. Specifically behind the Fingernail Structure in the Parking Lot that is also behind the Red Lion Hotel. This is in the parking lot off Lee Boulevard to the left when you are heading toward the river. Check out the course maps to see it in visual form.

- This year we have a running group and training plan for both the half marathon and then 10K. See Facebook for details or see below in the running group and training plan section.
REGISTRATION:
- Online registration ends on Wednesday, February 26, at 8 PM.
- The cut off for shirts will be SUNDAY FEBRUARY 16 at 5 PM. Any registration after that date/time will NOT receive a race shirt with their registration- so PLEASE get registered early. And the shirts are going to be a different design but same style (light weight hoodie pullover that is soft) as last year as everyone seemed to really love them!
- The race will have a maximum of 250 runners allowed to ensure that everyone has a first rate experience. **Last year the race sold out on January 29th!**
- There will be race registration allowed at packet pickup on Friday evening and also the morning of the race at the Red Lion from 7:30-8:30 am, IF THE RACE HAS NOT SOLD OUT. On site registration is cash or check only and will be $75
- THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR DEFERRALS.
FEES FOR THE RACE:
- The Half Marathon entry fee is $50 until 10/31/2019, $60 from 11/1/2019 to 1/31/2020, $70 from 2/1/2020 to 2/26/2020, and $75 for packet pickup and race day registration if there any spots are remaining.
- The entry fee for the Half Marathon includes your shirt and medal (until the shirt deadline of February 16th, then the shirt will not be included).
- New this year: for every participant that signs up we will be donating $5 to a charity: Rescue Freedom. For more information please check out this website: www.rescuefreedom.org
- If you are a current 3RRR club member, your entry fee is $3 less until 2/26/2019 at which time you will pay the full price if you register at packet pick up or race day.
- SIGN UP EARLY TO SAVE!! and remember there is a 250 runner limit. ** WE SOLD OUT LAST YEAR ON JANUARY 29th**
- Please pay online with a Visa, Master Card, or Discover (sorry no American Express). Your registration is not complete until your credit card information has been entered and that is the last thing you do when registering. You will get a confirmation email after you register, if you don't get the email you are not registered. (If you miss the online deadline and want to register at packet pick up on Friday or Race Day Morning then you will need to bring cash or check ONLY, credit will NOT be accepted, thanks!)

- Saturday, February 29, 2020 on race morning from 7:30-8:30am at the BARRK Pet Wash (next to Northwest PaddleBoard and Sport in the parking lot of the Start/Finish Area. (710 George Washington Way, Amon Park Dr Suite D in Richland).
THE HALF MARATHON SET UP
- Timing will by by chip. There will be mats for timing at the start, halfway and finish.
- Every Finisher will receive a finisher medal--they will be different than last year.
- There will be aid stations about every 2 miles (see course map) with gatorade, water, and gels at the the 3rd aid station (which is also the 4th aid station). Gels are just before mile 6 and mile 8.

RUNNING GROUP AND TRAINING PLAN
- Larry is once again leading the running group and training plan for those that are interested. We will start the week of October 6th and the first Saturday morning run will be October 12th at 6:45am.
- The training plan is geared toward first time half marathon runners, but all levels are welcome at the Saturday morning runs.
- The running group will be meeting on Saturday mornings at 6:45am at the Roasters on George Washington Way in Richland. We ask that you park down in Howard Amon parking to not overwhelm Roasters parking lot. All levels are welcome, we will be running the distance that is listed on the training plan. Experienced runners are encouraged to attend to help mentor those who are new to our beloved sport.
- The Saturday runs will be posted on the Facebook page as an event usually on the Monday before each Saturday.
- The training plan is posted on the Facebook page as well. The Weekly column is just the total milage you will run if you do the 4 scheduled runs during the week.
- Remember that everyone is responsible for their own health and that they have checked with their doctor prior to participating.
- If you are not a part of Facebook please just show up to a Saturday morning run and we will get you all the details you need (or contact me-the race director).

AWARDS
- OVERALL top three female finishers
- OVERALL top three male finishers
- Age Group Awards to the top three female finishers and top three male finishers in each age group.
- There will be 5 year age groups (14 and under; 15-19; 20-24, 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+).
- All AGE GROUP awards will be given out at the awards table located near the finish line where you can check your results and pick up your award.
- There will be an awards ceremony for each race for the top 3 overall finishers in each race, more information to follow as we get closer to the race.
- Awards will not be mailed so please stop by the Awards Tent/Table to check and see if you won an award and pick it up.
FINISH LINE FUN
- There will be a food and drinks.
- One of our incredible sponsors Powell Real Estate Group will be supplying chocolate milk again for recovery.
- Traveler Mobile Espresso will be at the finish line for all sorts of hot drinks for sale! Click on the logo for their Facebook page.

VOLUNTEERING:
- PLEASE consider having your friends or family members volunteer for the race. The Volunteers make your race experience that much better.

OUR CHARITY

- Their mission statement: We exist to empower the rescue and restoration of those in sexual slavery and to prevent exploitation.
- For every race entry we will be donating $5 (so if we sell out that is $1250 for the half marathon and if we sell out all races that is $3250!!)
- Depending on how many sponsors we can get for the race we will also be donating additional monies. If you know an organization that would like to sponsor please contact the race director (see below for information).
