37th Annual Trios Health Tri-Cities Marathon - Half Marathon Option

Description:

131. miles on a USATF certified course.

Chip Timing will be used for the Half Marathon.

Music headset / earbud friendly course.

Runners will assemble in the Shilo Inn parking lot at 7:45 a.m. for pre-race instructions. The Marathon Relay starts at 8:00 a.m. The course will close at 1:00 PM. Shilo Inn, Rivershore 50 Comstock St, Richland, WA 99352

Course: Flat and fast. The course takes you through the cities of Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco. You'll cross the Mighty Columbia River with the entire course run along the banks of the Mighty Columbia River.

Mile Markers: Every mile will be marked.

Restrooms: There will be restrooms at the start, finish, and at each relay transition point.

TRAFFIC CONTROL/PARKING: RACE START AND FINISH WILL BE AT THE SHILO INN, OUR RACE HEADQUARTERS, PARKING LOT. ADEQUATE PARKING IS AVAILABLE. ADEQUATE PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT THE RELAY TRANSITION POINTS. DIRECTIONS TO THE TRANSITION POINTS WILL BE PROVIDED IN YOUR PACKET AT PACKET PICKUP. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE TRANSITION POINTS.

Aid Stations: Approximately every 2 miles. Water and Sport’s Drink offered at every aid station.

Weather: Temperatures are usually in the 40’s and 50’s. Sunshine, overcast, wind, or light showers are all possible.

Finish: The finish is at the Shilo Inn. The course will close at 1:00 p.m. The award ceremony will begin at about 1:15 p.m.

Lodging: The Shilo Inn has set aside a number of rooms at special rates. To receive the discount, let the desk know you are associated with the marathon. Late checkouts must be arranged ahead-of-time by contacting the front desk for an additional $20.00 Please call: (509) 946-4661

Award Ceremony: The award ceremony will start at 1:15 p.m. and be held at the finish line area. Note: no shirts or awards will be mailed. Sorry, no exceptions.

Absolutely No Refunds for Registration Fees. Please, please, please plan accordingly.

On-Line Registration is available until Oct. 22nd (11pm) at no additional charge.

NO MAIL IN ENTRIES OFFERED, MUST REGISTER ONLINE - AND IT IS AT NO FEE TO YOU.

Registration Fee: $50.00 per individual for Half Marathon which includes a shirt. Shirt order cutoff date is October 15, 2016 (11:00pm).  Shirts WILL NOT be provided for those registering after that time.

Due to the size of our event, it is just not feasible for us to have shirts for purchase on race day. If you do not register before ONLINE REGISTRATION SHIRT CUT OFF DATE you will not get a shirt - sorry!! Please register before ONLINE SHIRT CUTOFF DATE!!

Available Shirt Sizes: (XS) EXTRA SMALL, (S) SMALL, (M) MEDIUM, (L) LARGE, (1XL) EXTRA LARGE, (2XL) EXTRA EXTRA LARGE

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION AVAILABLE AT PACKET PICKUP ON SATURDAY, OCT 29th AND ON RACE DAY, SUNDAY OCT, 30th: In-Person registration fees at packet pick up are $55.00 per individual and the shirt WILL NOT be included.

All fees are non-refundable. Please, please, please plan accordingly.

Race Packet Pickup: Available at the Shilo Inn lobby from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Saturday, October 28th. Packet pickup also available on race morning starting at 6:30 AM.
