Volunteers needed for Richland sprint tri

We need about a dozen fine folks to help us put on the Righteous Richland Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, July 1st.  We will need you in Howard Amon Park from about 7:30 to 11:00 am that morning.  Would really appreciate your help, so please contact Eric directly at sageg@charter.net to let him know that you can help.  Thanks very much.

Open Water River Swims

Open water river swims start on Monday, Memorial Day and go on throughout the summer.  Check the Calendar for dates and times throughout the season.  Meet at the Bradley Blvd parking lot just upstream of the Marina Vista Estates townhouse complex (the first housing complex downstream from the Shilo Inn on Bradley Blvd in Richland).  We drive upstream to a starting point and swim back down with the river current and warm hose showers in Eric’s driveway.  Times may vary,… [ more ]

Results are at www.nomadzracing.com .  Also know that the top 5 elementary schools that will share in the $5000 pot of gold include (# of finishers): Cascade (258), Robinson (184), Cottonwood (157), Finley Elementary (150), and Orchard (145).  Congratulations to all those schools and all that ran in the Leprechaun Dash and St. Patrick’s Day Foot Race.

Schur and Buck win multi-sport series titles

Brian Schur and Marcy Buck are your 3 Rivers Multi-Sport Series champions for 2016.  A total of 18 men and 3 women qualified for placings in the multi-sport series by completing all 6 events in the series.  All of these multi-sport super heroes will be honored at an upcoming club meeting with a fine trophy to commemorate their season.  The top 5 finishers in the series for the men also included Paul Stiekema, Sid Wavrin, Ron Hayden, and Eric Greager.  The top 3 for the… [ more ]
