The Selah Base Race

The Selah Base Race is a 5k and Half marathon race from Carlon Park, through Selah, WA and out to the Yakima Training Center. On Saturday, September 15th, runners will experience the beauty of Selah farms as they run to support our local Soldiers and their Families. Race is approved as an official course and runners will use professional timing systems for record. Join us on Friday, September 14th from 5-7 pm at the Selah Civic Center for packet pickup and a Spaghetti Feed – this is a great chance to fuel your body for the morning workout and meet other runners from around the state. Race proceeds go to support The Soldiers Project and United Through Reading.

Snake River Canyon Half Marathon

The Snake River Half Marathon is put on by the Palouse Road Runners on the first Saturday in March every year. It is the first big race of the season for the Quad Cities area. It is a beautiful river canyon out-and-back course on the Wawawai River Road along the Snake River. The flat and paved course is USATF certified. The start and finish are at Wawawai Landing at a river elevation of about 720 feet. Weather in the canyon is quite warm for March with finish line temperatures close to 50F. Race up the Snake 11k4k Rattlesnake Mountain Benton City WA

11k4k trail run that winds through ravines and the slopes of Rattlesnake Mountain and showcases the beauty of the Sagebrush Steppe in Southeastern Washington. The 11k(6.8 miles) is a loop with a gradual incline then gradual decline and has a very steep incline at mile 4 that ascends 700 feet over half a mile. This ascent is known as the Mountain Goat Challenge. The 4k(2.4 miles) is an out and back gradual uphill then downhill. Come catch an early spring sunrise with us over southeastern washington! ROCK YOUR SOCKS RUN

This is a fun run to benefit the Down Syndrome Association of the Mid Columbia. It consists of a 1mile, 5K and 10K distances at Chiawana West End Park in Pasco. Participants are encouraged to wear crazy socks to show their support and acceptance of individuals born with Down Syndrome. On March 21, is Down Syndrome Day. On this day we wear crazy socks in honor of these special individuals. Each Pre-registered participant will receive a medal and a pair of crazy socks at the finish line. There will be post race food, massages by Core Concepts and raffles at the finish. Some of the raffles consist of $25 Gift Cards to Runner Soul. So grab your crazy socks and join the fun! Run the Bloom Cherry Blossom 5k

Cherry Blossom 5k Run Walk is an annual event put on by the Kiona-Benton Booster Clubs supporting students within our community. We help fund local programs within our school district programs. All the proceeds from this race go toward the Kiona-Benton High School Leadership Class and Performing Arts this year.

The Annual Cherry Blossom Run Walk is the first Saturday in April.

Tri Cities Younglife Fun Run

Young Life Tri-Cities Welcomes All to 5k 4 Kids
Run. Walk. Be Inspired

Tri-Cities, WA Young Life is at work with young people in Tri-Cities being available to kids, providing fun, safe and comfortable gatherings, giving kids the right to be heard, and communicating Gods love in terms these students can understand. The support committee for Young Life Tri-Cities is having a 5k Fun Run 4 kids all registration proceeds go directly to students going to camp this summer. If interested in running or walking, register online at tcyl.younglife.org. Event is on April 6, 9:00 am at Columbia Point Marina Park, Richland. All are welcome to attend.

The Young Life 5K 4 Kids is a wonderful way to enjoy our community and support this fantastic organization that has made an impact on middle and high school students in the Tri-Cities area for over 50 years. Currently, WyldLife (Young Lifes outreach to middle school students) is reaching students at Chief Joseph, Desert Hills, Horse Heaven Hills, and Mcloughlin. Young Life is also reaching students at Chiawana, Hanford, Kamiakin, Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, and Southridge. Young Lives (outreach to Teen Moms) and Capernaum (outreach for our friends with special needs).

Young Life is a worldwide organization for middle, high school and college students. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them fun, adventure and friendship. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we think matters most of all the truth about God and His love for us. 2 Mile Flat and Fast Course. Omak Orchards in Bloom Half Marathon and 10k

Omak is a rural frontier town in Eastern Washington. Its primary economic engine is tree fruit production. The race course meanders through many of the apple, pear, apricot, and cherry orchards of the area. Historically the orchards are in bloom during the race weekend. This is a a chip timed rural race on rolling hills with hometown flair.
Runners will enjoy a 360 degree view of our beautiful Eastern Washington mountains. All participants will receive a race shirt and a memorable finisher medal.All first place age group winner will receive a bottle of Rockwall Cellars wine.

All proceed benefits the Omak Fit 4 Life Coalition, whose mission is to empower community members in our rural, frontier town to be fit and healthy. Funding from this race allows the Coalition to provide health and wellness education through the whole year.

Butte Challenge

Butte Challenge is in its 20th year. The race is a road race around the Butte at Hermiston Oregon. It is a 10K run, 5K run and 5K walk. Afterwards there is food for the runners and a raffle that every runner is automatically put into. There have been great prices at the raffle for the runners every year. Run for Ribbons 2019

Run for Ribbons is a 10K, 5K Run1Mile Walk in support of local cancer patients. RibbonFestCheck-in at 8:30 am, Run-Walk begins at 10:00 am! $25 for Adults, $15 for Children (3-17). Participants decorate an event t-shirt ($10 additional fee to purchase the t-shirt) to represent the type of cancer that has most impacted their lives. On May 12th, 2018, over 1,200 people participated in the event which raised over $60,000! With the help of over 60 volunteers, fun was had by all. We thank those who came out in support of the Tri-Cities Cancer Center and we are looking forward to an even bigger crowd this year!
