The Selah Base Race

The Selah Base Race is a 5k and Half marathon race from Carlon Park, through Selah, WA and out to the Yakima Training Center. On Saturday, September 15th, runners will experience the beauty of Selah farms as they run to support our local Soldiers and their Families. Race is approved as an official course and runners will use professional timing systems for record. Join us on Friday, September 14th from 5-7 pm at the Selah Civic Center for packet pickup and a Spaghetti Feed – this is a great chance to fuel your body for the morning workout and meet other runners from around the state. Race proceeds go to support The Soldiers Project and United Through Reading.

5K Run for Recovery

The Benton Franklin Recovery Coalition and Oxford House Inc. are co-hosting a 5K Run for Recovery along the Columbia River from Wade Park to the Moore Mansion in Pasco WA. This is a fundraiser for these two 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. The Benton Franklin Recovery Coalitions mission is to advocate for recovery and treatment opportunities; educate to de-stigmatize the disease of addiction; and reduce barriers to recovery for people suffering from substance use disorder. The Oxford House program offers self-run, self-supported sober group homes in our community for those in recovery from substance use disorder. Register at: www.509recovery.org

The Valley Moves 5k and 10k

The Valley Moves is a family friendly 5k and 10k will take place at the Grandview rose garden and Palcacios Pathway in Grandview, Washington on September 22, 2019. Race packet pickup begins at 7:30am, and the race begins at 9:00am. All funds go to the Childrens Tumor Foundation whos main mission is to spread awareness for Neurofibromatosis, better known as NF. Race director, Chloe Peterson (age 16) has been organizing this race for 5 years and hopes to double participation this year. She hopes to attract the attention of more families and peak interest in exercising together.
The race course is designed as a loop. There is one water station on the course. Because of the loop design, the 5k racers pass it once, and the 10k racers will pass it twice. Each water station has water and Gatorade. other refreshments and snacks will be provided at the finish line. Awards will also be presented for first through third place in each race. The Fast The Furriest

Who is the Fastest & Who is the Furriest?
Come & find out at our 2nd Annual Charity Fun Run for
Benton-Franklin Human Society!

Run, walk or jog, alone or with your dog, on this 5k (optional 1k) run while taking in the scenery at Columbia Point Park in Richland starting at shelter #1.

Tickets include a voucher for a discounted hot dog from Tri-Cities own award-winning Doggie Style Gourmet, and runners also will receive $2.00 off a frozen treat of their choice from WE ice.

The top two finishers will receive a Fastest or Furriest Gift Basket!

Need more fun?
Purchase a raffle ticket for $5.00 and select your winner in our friendly competition of SMALL DOGS vs BIG DOGS. Whichever dog crosses the finish line first – the ticket will be drawn from the corresponding pot. Winner will receive a gift basket full of car washing supplies valued up to $100.00.

Race Details: Race will begin at 10 am near shelter #1. Water will be available for runners at the starting line, mid-way line & finish line.

All proceeds go towards supporting BFHS and donations are always accepted!

BFHS advocates for the humane treatment of animals through adoption counseling, educational outreach, and community services. Run for the Animals 5k 1mile

We are very excited to announce the 2nd Annual Run for the Animals!! Please join us Saturday, September 28th (Prosser Balloon Rally weekend) to run, jog, or walk this 5 km (timed) loop or 1.0 mi (not timed) out and back course for southeastern Washingtons only rescue and sanctuary for farm animals. This scenic 5km route with mountain and river views will take place on flat paved country roads starting and finishing at the animal sanctuary. Join us at the sanctuary after the runwalk to meet the pigs, donkeys, horses, ducks, roosters, and chickens you are helping to support. We will have a sanctuary tour after the run for all participants.

All proceeds support the animals of the sanctuary, Noble Animal Sanctuary is a federally recognized non-profit.

Bulldog Cross Country Invite @ Big Cross 2019

BULLDOG CROSS COUNTRY INVITE @ BIG CROSS 2019

Pasco will host a Cross Country Invitational, the Bulldog Invite.
The course is on gravel and woodchip paths over rolling hills.
Team scores will be kept for varsity races. There will be one division, when we score the meet we will score all runners whether on a complete team or not. Individual runners will remain in the scoring when determining the team scores. You can have 7 runners in the varsity races and unlimited for all other races. The top 5 runners will score. The top team in the varsity races will
receive a plaque. The top 7 runners on the winning team will receive ribbons. The top 20 individuals will receive ribbons in the 5k races. The top 10 individuals will receive ribbons in the 2 mile races. Entry Fee is $3 per individual up to a maximum entry fee of $60 per team.
Pies will be awarded to random runners.
Ribbons will be awarded in the chute. Teams will submit rosters via athletic.net by 8:00pm on Wednesday before the meet.

Community Race: $5 Run separately cash or check to Tri-City International Cross Country Course
Race day registration only, starting at 9am on Saturday.
Age Groups: 10&under, 11-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&over. Top 3 in each age group. Ribbons can be picked up at registration table after 10:15am.

Chocolate Chip Cookie 50K Trail Run

Welcome to the Chocolate Chip Cookie 50K Trail Run. We are excited to share Riverside State Park in Spokane. This is a rolling river run with awesome views of the surrounding mountains, Spokane River valley, the CCC Suspension Bridge, and haystack rocks nearby. Runners will cover a varied terrain and trail. It is a beginner-intermediate course, with some short hills, rocks to tumble on, forest air to breathe, and open prairie. This is a beautiful course. ccc50k.com

Dia de los Muertos 5k 10k Kids Run Scholarship Fundraiser

A 2nd annual event, all three DDLM runs begin in downtown Pasco, WA near the Pasco Farmers Market Pavilion. All proceeds go to scholarships for local disadvantaged youth to help with the growing costs of post secondary trade, vocational, colleges andor universities. Rattlesnake Mountain Half Marathon

This event is the culmination of our BE CREATIVE WITH NATIVES WEEK which is a week of events to encourage all to focus more on Native Landscaping. The run is a challenging trail half marathon throughout the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve. It showcases the beauty and openness of the Sagebrush Steppe of Southeastern Washington and will be roughly 2000 feet gain over the 13.1 miles. It is a fundraiser for the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve and we will be handing out native seeds to scatter as you race.
