The Selah Base Race

The Selah Base Race is a 5k and Half marathon race from Carlon Park, through Selah, WA and out to the Yakima Training Center. On Saturday, September 15th, runners will experience the beauty of Selah farms as they run to support our local Soldiers and their Families. Race is approved as an official course and runners will use professional timing systems for record. Join us on Friday, September 14th from 5-7 pm at the Selah Civic Center for packet pickup and a Spaghetti Feed – this is a great chance to fuel your body for the morning workout and meet other runners from around the state. Race proceeds go to support The Soldiers Project and United Through Reading.

Lampson Cable Bridge Run

Lampson Cable Bridge Run (40th Annual)
Sat, Dec 15, 2018 – Pasco, WA
The 40th Annual Lampson Cable Bridge Run has 10K, 5K and 1 mile distance runs crossing Pascos famous Cable Bridge. This holiday favorite will be started by Santa himself at 9:00 am sharp. The race takes you from the Lampson International Inc. Office building to their manufacturing shop, where you will pass by many of the Huge cranes before crossing the finish line. At the shop runners will enjoy hot Dr. Pepper, refreshments, and prize giveaways! A beer garden is also available.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Lampson Cable Bridge Run! In celebration of this milestone all finishers of the race will receive a commemorative finishers medal. So tell your friends and come out and enjoy this fun and exciting holiday tradition! Runners, no matter the distance they choose (1Mile, 5K, or 10K) will start their race crossing over the Columbia River from Kennewick to Pasco, WA on the scenic Cable Bridge and all racers will end at the Lampson warehouse and warm up with Hot Doctor Pepper and enjoy the camaraderie of other participants.

New this year there is a discounted, non-timed 1 mile fun run category for those that want to experience the fun and excitement of this yearly event, and still receive the 40th Anniversary finisher medal. Also new this year, is a child 4 and under category that is free of charge. Participants in this category will receive a bib but will not be timed or receive a finisher medal.

For all timed race categories, timing chips are used and awards are given to the top participants in each age category. So if you are a competitive runner or someone who just wants to have fun walking with your friends, the Lampson Cable Bridge Run has what you are looking for.

40th Anniversary – Finisher Medals
2018 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Lampson Cable Bridge Run! In celebration Finisher Medals will be given out those who finish the run. To receive your medal please ensure that your race bib is visible as you cross the finish line.

Race up the Snake 11k4k Rattlesnake Mountain Benton City WA

11k4k trail run that winds through ravines and the slopes of Rattlesnake Mountain and showcases the beauty of the Sagebrush Steppe in Southeastern Washington. The 11k(6.8 miles) is a loop with a gradual incline then gradual decline and has a very steep incline at mile 4 that ascends 700 feet over half a mile. This ascent is known as the Mountain Goat Challenge. The 4k(2.4 miles) is an out and back gradual uphill then downhill. Come catch an early spring sunrise with us over southeastern washington! Gallus Gallus 2 Mile Dash Richland WA

2 Mile Flat and Fast Course. This running event is a fundraiser for and to kick off the Tour de Coop Tri-cities which showcases different chicken coops in the area with the goal of educating others on what it takes to have chickens as well as encouraging more active, self-sufficient, and environmentally aware lifestyles.

Omak Orchards in Bloom Half Marathon and 10k

Omak is a rural frontier town in Eastern Washington. Its primary economic engine is tree fruit production. The race course meanders through many of the apple, pear, apricot, and cherry orchards of the area. Historically the orchards are in bloom during the race weekend. This is a a chip timed rural race on rolling hills with hometown flair.
Runners will enjoy a 360 degree view of our beautiful Eastern Washington mountains. All participants will receive a race shirt and a memorable finisher medal.All first place age group winner will receive a bottle of Rockwall Cellars wine.

All proceed benefits the Omak Fit 4 Life Coalition, whose mission is to empower community members in our rural, frontier town to be fit and healthy. Funding from this race allows the Coalition to provide health and wellness education through the whole year.

Hurricane Creek Half Joseph Oregon

This is one of the most scenic half marathons in the northwest with constant views of the Wallowa Mountains, Eagle Cap Wilderness, and occasional views of the Seven Devils in Idaho. This is an out and back course starts at Joseph City Park and goes up a thousand feet into the Wallowas via Hurricane Creek. The surface is half pavement, half logging road. Come join us and make a weekend out of it with a Friday Pre-Race Yoga Class, Saturday Run, Wallowa County Farmers Market, & Post Race Yoga by Salutations Studio at 2 PM. Rattlesnake Mountain Half Marathon

This event is the culmination of our BE CREATIVE WITH NATIVES WEEK which is a week of events to encourage all to focus more on Native Landscaping. The run is a challenging trail half marathon throughout the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve. It showcases the beauty and openness of the Sagebrush Steppe of Southeastern Washington and will be roughly 2000 feet gain over the 13.1 miles. It is a fundraiser for the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve and we will be handing out native seeds to scatter as you race. Also this is not just a run, we encourage those that would like to come hike and help in the re-seeding efforts. To register or more information go to under Races.
