41st Annual Lampson Cable Bridge Run

THE 41ST ANNUAL LAMPSON CABLE BRIDGE RUN (SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21ST)- A tradition in December, this event features 1 mile, 5K and 10K races. With 9 age divisions and a wheelchair division; everyone from the kids to the grandparents can participate. Dont forget to get some refreshments at the finish line to warm you after the race.

TIME & DATE: All three runs begin at 9:00 am, Saturday, Dec. 21. NO PETS ALLOWED IN RACE.

CHIP TIMING: Chip timing will be used by all accept those signed up for the 1 mile non-timed fun run and for those signed up for the 0-4 year old non-timed participation. Do NOT run through more than one finish line.

PARKING LOCATION AND SHUTTLES: NO parking at the start of the race. Please park at Benton County Fairgrounds (1500 S. Oak St., Kennewick, WA) and Ben Franklin Transit buses will shuttle participants to the start. After the race at the 5K10K finish, shuttles will then return participants to the Benton County Fairgrounds. SHUTTLES FROM FAIRGROUNDS TO START: 7:00 – 8:15 am; SHUTTLES FROM FINISH TO FAIRGROUNDS: 10:00am – 11:30am

PACKET PICK-UP: Friday, Dec. 20, 12-7pm, & Saturday, Dec. 21, 7-8:30am at Neil F. Lampson Office Building, 607 E. Columbia Dr., Kennewick.

TRADESHOW: will take place Friday, Dec. 20 during race packet pick-up.

FINISHER MEDALS: Finisher Medals will again be given to the first 2000 participants as they cross the finish line (Must have Bib number clear and visible as you cross the finish to receive your medal. NOTE: Non-timed 0-4 year olds will not receive a medal).

The 5K and 10K races end at the LampsonDixon Shop (2300 East Crane Street, Pasco). Race finish observers should be at the LampsonDixon Shop by 8:15am in order to avoid road closures.

Santa Run and Reindeer Trot

The 5k Santa Run and & 1 mile Reindeer Trot is a community event put on by the Kiona Benton Bears Booster Clubs. All proceeds go to supporting the Youth Athletics and Performing Art Students within our community, and any other program associated with the Ki-Be Boosters Clubs.

So show your Christmas Spirit. Runners dressed as Santas get $5 off their race entry fee. Awards to the Reindeer Trotters who are the Most Spirited and ALL Ki-Be Students participate for FREE!!

This is the time for Community and have a little fun doing it. Hope to see your Jungle Bells this year at the Annual Santa Run and Reindeer Trot!!

SCHEDULE
Saturday, December 14, 2019
7:30 to 8:45 AM Registration and Bib pick-up

9:00 AM 5K Santa Run
9:10 AM- 1 mile Fun RunWalk

RACE COURSE
Both races will begin and end at the Benton City Lions Club 1100 Ellen Ave, Benton City, WA.
The 1 mile and 5K courses are on county roads and sidewalks. All roads will be soft closed for races.

The 5K course strollers are permitted. For the safety of all participants, pets, inline skates, bikes and scooters are not permitted.

PARKING
Parking is permitted at Lions Club, LDS Church, and Ki-Be Elementary-Middle School.

TIMING
Timing will be done using stop watch and tagging system. Please specify if you would like us to submit you your official time via email. We give time to runners once they cross the finish line.

AWARDS
All 5K and 1 Mile winners will receive their medals trophies immediately after the 5K finishes at the Finish Line.

Awards will also be presented to the 5K and 1 mile finishers in the following categories:

1st, 2nd & 3rd place Male
1st, 2nd & 3rd place Female
1st, 2nd & 3rd place Reindeer Trotters

Rattlesnake Mountain Half Marathon

This event is the culmination of our BE CREATIVE WITH NATIVES WEEK which is a week of events to encourage all to focus more on Native Landscaping. The run is a challenging trail half marathon throughout the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve. It showcases the beauty and openness of the Sagebrush Steppe of Southeastern Washington and will be roughly 2000 feet gain over the 13.1 miles. It is a fundraiser for the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve and we will be handing out native seeds to scatter as you race. Dia de los Muertos 5k 10k Kids Run Scholarship Fundraiser

A 2nd annual event, all three DDLM runs begin in downtown Pasco, WA near the Pasco Farmers Market Pavilion. All proceeds go to scholarships for local disadvantaged youth to help with the growing costs of post secondary trade, vocational, colleges andor universities. Scare Away Epilepsy

Scare Away Epilepsy is a fun run intended to raise money and awareness for epilepsy. It is being put on by Kamiakin DECA and all proceeds will go to the Epilepsy Foundation. Chocolate Chip Cookie 50K Trail Run

Welcome to the Chocolate Chip Cookie 50K Trail Run. We are excited to share Riverside State Park in Spokane. This is a rolling river run with awesome views of the surrounding mountains, Spokane River valley, the CCC Suspension Bridge, and haystack rocks nearby. Runners will cover a varied terrain and trail. It is a beginner-intermediate course, with some short hills, rocks to tumble on, forest air to breathe, and open prairie. This is a beautiful course. ccc50k.com

Fall Fest 5k 10k 1Mile

Please join Bethlehem Lutheran School for the 19th annual Fall Fest at Howard Amon Park in Richland, WA!

Chip-timed 5k and 10k races start at 9:00 am, with prizes awarded for top Male and Female racers in each race.

After the race, stick around for the Fest from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm to enjoy bouncehouses, food trucks, laser tag, and cake walk! There is fun for the whole family, including a 1-mile fun run starting at 11:00 am.

Chamna Chase

The Chamna Chase is BACK! Mark October 12th on your calendar. Well be having a 6K, 10K and a half marathon again. The 6K starts at 10:00 AM, the 10K starts at 9:30 and the half marathon starts at 8:30 AM.
It all happens in the Chamna Natural Preserve in Richland.

OktoberFeast Fun Run and Beer Garden

Were proud to present OktoberFeast 2019, a 5K Fun Run and Beer Garden whose proceeds benefit Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels. Runners, walkers, puppies, and strollers of all ages and abilities are invited to enjoy a morning filled with music, root beer, sausage, and beer for the over 21 crowd.

OktoberFeast takes place on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:30 am, and will begin and end at the Meals on Wheels Central Kitchen in South Richland, 1824 Fowler Street. The event will not be timed and is meant to be strictly for fun. The course is laid out as a standard out-and-back 5K event, but participants are welcome to turn around at any point.
